Are there any employment opportunities in the library?

Students are encouraged to complete the Student Employment Application form.

Drake encourages work study applicants in addition to temporary service applicants. We also try to accommodate experienced returning student employees. Though we employ many students, there are always many more applicants than there are vacancies. Elements considered in hiring are: (1) your availability during specific hours, (2) GPA of 2.0 or better, and (3) results of your interview. If your availability matches our needs, we will call you for an interview. If your availability does not match our needs, you will not be called.

We will keep your application on file through the semester. Please call the Drake Library Circulation Department at (585) 395-2140 to update any schedule changes or to inquire about future openings.
