How do I return library materials?

There are 3 ways you can return library materials:

  • In person:
    • At a Drake Library book drop found outside of the library's entrance
    • Inside the library at the Circulation Desk during open hours
  • At another SUNY campus:
    • The list of campuses accepting Brockport items can be found here.
  • Via postal mail, mailed to:
    • Circulation Desk
      Drake Memorial Library
      350 New Campus Drive
      SUNY Brockport
      Brockport, New York 14420
    • Note: Books may be sent at lower cost by requesting "Media Mail" at the Post Office.

Receipts for returns are generated automatically and sent to your Brockport email address.  Drake Memorial Library does not charge fines for most overdue materials, except for items from our Course Reserves and Tech Tools collections. Visit our Borrowing Policies page for more information.
